I’d like to know more about wine. Going to holiday parties where wine will be served. I like wine I just don’t know much about it. Why do people smell it and twirl the glass before drinking it? What should I look for in the taste? etc I don’t want to look stupid. I want to delight in it fully for what it is.

Could you tell the difference between a £3.99 bottle of red wine and a 6.99 bottle? and do you buy into all this bumf about bouquet, and parties going on in their mouths, when the Pratt’s taste it. Am i a cynic or what.?
